Description

Pulsar Axion 2 XQ35 Thermal Imaging Monocular. 

The new Axion 2 XQ35 is a replacement for the XM30. The price will be kept at a similar level, but the new model comes with full features including Wi-Fi and video recording functions. Apart from that, the battery life has been increased to around 5 hours of operating time and there’s an upgraded eye-piece.

The thermal imaging sensor has 320×240 pixels and 12-micron pitch size, with a 3x base magnification and 7.8 degrees of horizontal field of view. Everything is packed into a durable magnesium alloy housing with an IPX7 waterproof rating, to be able to withstand shock, drop and rough handling. As usual, there are 8 colour palettes to choose from.

In Axion XM30F thermal imaging devices, space-saving dimensions fit together with a high detection potential. High-quality optics and a thermal imaging sensor with a 12-micron pixel will help to observe an object with 1.8 meters high on distant approaches, up to 1300 meters.

  • Ideal Optical Magnification

Thermal imaging device solves practical problems of observation during the hunting already at the starting magnification. The 3x magnification of Axion XM30F is optimal for a comfortable study of the trophy at short and medium distances, the field of view is sufficient for observing dynamic scenes. The magnification is increased up to 4 times by means of digital zoom to identify distant objects.

Axion XM is designed for constant, often hard use. A magnesium alloy housing is light and strong at the same time. The housing reliably protects the internal components of a thermal imaging device from shocks, drops, moisture, heat or cold. At the same time a metal housing effectively removes the heat from electronics, minimizes image noise and increases consistency of the device operation during long-term observation.

  • Low Power Consumption. 5+ Hours of Battery Life on a Single Charge

A quick-change APS3 rechargeable battery provides 5 hours of continuous operation of the thermal imaging device on a single charge. The battery is removed from a battery housing and replaced with a new one in seconds. The battery is charged in a special device or inside the device from a PC, household power system or power bank via USB. The same sources are used for external power supply of a thermal imaging device.

Selection of the signal amplification level combined with new filtration algorithms with fine brightness and contrast adjustments offers the hunter great opportunities for long-range detection of game under diverse weather and temperature conditions.
